The company specializes in high range fabrics, scarves and accessories collections, collaborating with luxury brands and international fashion groups.

Starting with research into the finest yarns, silk, cashmere and natural fabrics, the project evolves through ideas, sketches, drawings, cads, prototypes and samplings, through to the full production cycle

THE BEGINNINGS
Studio Accardo was founded by Daniela Accardo in 1980. The philosophy underlying the company was ethnological research and in-depth study of the textile traditions to be found along the Silk Road: Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, China, India, Thailand and Bangladesh. The long stays in these countries and extensive experience of the manufacturing processes enabled us to achieve a harmonious blend of the local textile traditions and Italian style.
After being based in the United States from 1994 to 1996, Studio Accardo established its headquarters in Italy, Rome. It now operates in numerous countries and has offices in India, our aim being to ensure quality control in all phases of the production process.

TRADITION AND TECHNOLOGY
Studio Accardo strives to satisfy our customers every need, with Italian designers working together with experts in textiles, embroidery and colour in a process enriched by constant innovation.
The Studio works to preserve historic handmade textile heritage combining tradition with the latest textile technologies and digital printing.
The manufacturing process, yarns and colours respectfully harmonize with the environment and with cultural values, a feature of Studio Accardo’s activities from the very beginning.
